Take a drive to Kaup beach that is situated 28 km from Paradise Lagoon. It is one of the least commercialized coastal areas, and boasts of serenity that is unparalleled. One of the main highlights of this beach is its beautiful lighthouse, the Kaup Lighthouse, which is also a famous tourist attraction. Post 4:30 pm it is open to visitors and tourists.
Visit the renowned Udupi Sri Krishna temple, the Kateel Durga Parameshwari temple, the Kukke Subramanya temple and the Murudeshwara temple to experience the heritage of Malpe from its roots.
You can also, in addition to the above mentioned, take a short trip to a few important destinations close to the resort, such as Belur, Halebidu, Shravanabelagola, Mysore and Madikeri.
Visit the Sakrebailu Elephant Camp and the Tyavarekoppa Lion and Tiger Reserve to experience wildlife at its best, by catching glimpses of Elephants, Tigers, Lions and Deer at close quarters.
